German ProSieben TV Channel Finds 500 Gram Tungsten Bar At W.C.Heraeus Gold Foundry With Bank Origin

"…What appears to be the first documentation of counterfeit gold bars made of plated tungsten was noted today by Zero Hedge as having been reported by a German television station. The counterfeit bar reportedly is in the possession of the W.C. Heraeus gold foundry in Hanau, Germany, said to be the world's largest.

This sort of thing might shake the gold market even more than, say, the International Monetary Fund's confession that it really doesn't have any gold and that it has been selling only bookkeeping entries all this time…."

I always suspected a lot of the gold in the world is counterfeit – I seem to recall a thread of yours on MT where you questioned as to how there could possibly be so much physical gold in certain investment banks and world governments – of course now it is impossible to go back and reference that thread. Some have even commented on how the gold in Fort Knox no longer exists. I'm not sure what the truth is but this story only adds fuel to the fire.
